Everyone has an experience of being othered or feeling like they do not belong. I know I certainly do. I started Quirky And Or Queer so I could explore otherness with the people who experience it. I want to have more conversations about our differences and how otherness relates to careers, love lifes, and creative pursuits. If we all feel unique and different, is that something we all share? I am a curious person and I want to always ask questions rooted in compassion, empathy, and social justice.
I am a self-taught photographer, community worker, media wanderer, jokester, soon to be social worker, and a puppy dog lover. I have had too many jobs, not enough magical experiences, and I am incredibly motivated to make a more just and harmonious world. You can often find me volunteering in the arts and doing queer things. To see his work as a photographer check out @TeeJohnny on IG or at www.teejohnny.com.
